Year 11 and 12 Media students visited London on 12th and 13th July. They visited Levesden Studios in Watford to experience the Harry Potter studios tour where we saw how the props, sets, costumes and special effects were created for all the Harry Potter films as well as visit some of the amazing sets like Hogwarts. We visited Waterloo station to see the Ghostbusters PR stunt as well as a walking tour of London visiting the South Bank, the London Eye, Westminster, Big Ben, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. On Wednesday we visited the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum and saw how storyboards developed into some of the most famous action sequences as well as seeing some of the most famous vehicles from all the Bond films. Everyone arrived back very tired but happy !
