Our Advice & Guidance team at Accrington Academy Sixth Form is multi-faceted. From bespoke opportunities and partnerships with Tomorrow’s Teachers, Lancaster University mentoring, Oxbridge partnerships, to individual personal tutorials with your tutor, we walk through the whole process with you.
Right from your entry, we give you opportunity to record your experiences and build a portfolio of evidence, alongside specific personal statement writing advice. We use an internationally-recognised tool, Uniform, to help shape your options post-18, including the Apprenticeships and Oxbridge tools.
We pay all UCAS fees for every student and can help support students to get to interviews and open days if necessary. We even go to the UCAS Convention in Manchester en masse to look at all your options!
Miss Gregory,  IAG co-ordinator is the font of all things post-18 options – she will be glad to meet you and tool you up to be successful!
