The rearranged date due to bad weather on the original day meant a reduced number of teams able to contest the cup but the standard was excellent as usual.  Six teams played in a round robin format which meant that they all played each other on the lovely new pitches at Roefield Leisure Centre.
The top four teams from the overall standings will be invited back to play against the. top four Hyndburn Teams from their event.  Salesbury and St Leonards were extremely strong throughout but Pendle proved to be the overall strongest team on the day with four wins and a draw.  It could all change on the finals day but Pendle will represent the Ribble Valley in the Danone Cup in January.
Overall results were:
1 – Pendle
2 – St Leonards
3 – Salesbury
4 – Brookside
Thanks to Accrington Stanley Community Trust for helping to run the event and providing the referees.
