St Marys Oswaldtwistle and St Marys Langho won there place in the Lancashire School games by winning the district competitions.
The Hyndburn competition was held on 9th June at Accrington academy and 13 teams competed to become Hyndburn Netball champions 2015. St Marys Ossy won all 3 of there group games scoring 22 points and only conceding 2 points. The team they would play in the final moorend won both of there group games including a close game vs. near rivals west end which ended 1-0. St Marys Oswaldtwislte beat west end in the quarter finals 6-0 to set up a semi final with baxenden who they also beat. In the final Moorend put up a good fight but ultimately St Marys Oswaldtwistle were too strong winning the final 9-1 to become Hyndburn champions for the second year in a row. Moorend took 2nd place with St Johns Great Harwood finishing third.
In the Ribble Valley St Marys Langho won all three of there group games to progress 6-0, 8-0 and 10-1 respectively. St Marys Lanho where looking to emulate the Hyndburn competition by winning it for the 2nd year in a row. Which they duly did beating Sabden in the quarter finals, Edisford in the semi finals and Barrow in the final to represent the ribble valley in the Lancashire school games. Barrow finished 2nd with Edisford finishing in third place.
