Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Primary Cross Country Competition

The 2019 Inter-school primary cross-country event was held on Thursday 3rd October at Wilsons Playing Fields Clayton le moors. This event was extremely popular as we had 25 Hyndburn School teams & 23 Ribble Valley School teams taking part in the races. The children had obviously been taking time out to train as they displayed some fantastic running. Each team consisted of up to 6 girls and 6 boys, the top 4 girls & boys runners scored points for their school’s overall team result. Below are displayed the top 3 individual runners for each race and the overall girls/boys team along with overall Hyndburn & Ribble Valley team scores.

This event would not take place without the help of the volunteers from Hyndburn Athletics Club, Ribblesdale High School students and marshalling the event Accrington Academy Sports leaders. The Partnership would like to thank all the individuals that helped this event run smoothly.

The top 25 runners within each race have been selected to run in the East Lancashire County Final. Well done to all of these!! If you would like to see any pictures taken from the event Kipax were down at the event taking some excellent photos WWW.KIPAX.COM
